It just seems like we've always been here, right in the middle of Mad River Green in Waitsfield. We're next door to the hardware store and across from the post office, so sooner or later, everyone in the Mad River Valley is likely to stop by.

In 1981, the café roasted its own coffee right in the store. People loved it so much that the coffee roasting outgrew our intimate space. So Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, as they came to be known, moved to much larger quarters up in nearby Waterbury, and they're thriving just nicely.

Three Mountain Café stayed right here under its own management, and we still serve the wonderful coffees of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. We bake our muffins, scones, and such fresh every morning, and we have fresh ready-made sandwich wraps every day. Hot and hearty soups await you after a day of winter fun.

We also make our own dairy fudge, in lots of different varieties. There's always something fresh to delight you.
